Biography

Beth White holds a Master of Science degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education with a concentration in Human Development from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio (1993) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, VA (1989).  She obtained her National Counselor Certification in 1996 from the National Board of Certified Counselors. She has been working as a Career Counselor in the Career Center since 1993, and has previous experience working as an Admissions Counselor for two liberal arts colleges. 

Beth’s primary roles include career counseling, supervising professional staff, coordinating programs and services, and ordering new resources for the career library.  She especially enjoys working with students, helping them with their career planning and decision making process.  Currently she is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, Southern Association of Colleges and Employers, National Board of Certified Counselors and Georgia Career Development Association.
