The mission of the Emory University Career Center is to advise and assist undergraduate students in career decision-making, employment opportunities, academic programs and experiential opportunities that will enhance their Emory experience in preparation for the next step in their career journey. We also assist and develop relationships with employers and graduate schools wishing to recruit our students and alumni.

Our Peer Advisors are trained student staff that provides some of our one on one service to our students. Advisors primarily help students who have quick questions or need a brief review of their documents (cover letter, resume, etc.). Peer Advisors are able to add a valuable student perspective to the career journey and can share their personal experiences in the career process. 

To meet with a Peer Advisor there are two options:

Drop-In Hours: are available with our Peer Advisors for quick questions and resume critiques via 10-15-minute drop-ins (these can be unscheduled), Monday-Friday between Noon-4pm.

Campus Closures / Holiday ScheduleThe Emory Career Center will be closed per the Emory University holiday schedule. In the case of inclement weather, Emory University will announce any additional closures through CEPAR (Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response).
